We want you to have the time of your life and we will do everything we can to ensure you will want to return time and time again. We aim to make your visit to Crogen a completely unique experience for you: the very existence of Crogen is about friends and family and we want to share this gorgeous estate with you. Boasting total privacy and seclusion, it is clear to see why many of our guests return year on year.
The accommodation is truly idyllic. The estate Coach House sleeps 17, the Wing in Crogen sleeps a further 4 and Bryn Awel, Grade II Listed cottage takes care of one cosy couple. For weddings, sporting parties or corporate functions, further accommodation is available (upon request) in the main house. We can provide an additional 10 beds within the Estate and yet still retain the feeling of privacy - please ask us when enquiring. Price guides can be found on our Tariffs page, and to book a stay please contact us directly.
Whether it’s peace and relaxation, discovering a quiet corner of unspoilt countryside or maybe a game of tennis on our private court, followed by a brisk walk amongst the mountains of the estate, there is a wonderful range of outdoor activities to keep everyone happy.
Fishing: We retain a mile of private fishing on the River Dee, which is available by appointment to our guests. Do have a look at the episode of Gone Fishing with Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse shown on BBC2 on 16th September 2022, if you need any enticing. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001c2q6/mortimer-whitehouse-gone-fishing-series-5-episode-2
Tennis: We have a private tennis court for guests' use.
Sporting: Please refer to our Sporting Breaks page on this website.
Other activities: If you feel like exploring more of Wales, we are very spoilt to have the Snowdonia National Park almost next door, as well as Bala Lake and Llangollen, with its steam trains and National Eisteddfod, a short drive away.
